I remember a radio interview with some professor who claimed that young people nowadays are absent-minded from environment and nature, because in the bus, train and elsewhere they are stuck to mp3 player, handy and mobile games.
But that was too simple to me — I often realize there are more and more people, hard- and long-working and thus addicted to certain things which keep them off thinking about their lives.
While back in the days people where addicted to drugs like alcohol, cigarettes and the illegal stuff, they are now often stuck to that media stuff - trying to cope with their hard lives.
