Actually Cigdem YOU are right and Morbo is wrong. The winner’s wreath at the ancient Olympics were made from an olive branch (from the secret olive tree planted by Hercules) while a laurel wreath was awarded at the other great sporting/cultural event of antiquity the Pythian Games at Delphi!
